Types of contact lenses

We supply the full range of contact lenses. The types available are daily, weekly, monthly and planned replacment schemes disposable lenses through to long term, bifocals and toric lenses for astigmatism.

Soft Lenses

Soft lenses are made from a special material that can absorb water and transmit a certain amount of oxygen to the eye. These lenses are very delicate and actually contain a high percentage of fluid that makes them so comfortable to wear.

Acuvue Bifocal contact Lenses

With normal bifocal spectacles, the top portion of the lens is for distance, whilst the bottom part of the lens is for close-up objects. Now Acuvue Bifocal by Johnson & Johnson with their innovative "Pupil Intelligent" design offers a new and more natural solution. They allow you to see both near and far, in all directions and in varying brightness levels. There is no need to angle your head or adjust your seat to focus on an object, you can see what you want just by looking.

Acuvue Bifocal lenses are soft, thin and flexible and are extremely comfortable right from the start. Oxygen passes easily through the lenses to your eyes, to help keep them refreshed and healthy. You cannot put them in upside down, as the design is based on a series of concentric rings. Why not see the difference for yourself. Before you decide to buy, you can have the chance to try the lenses at home.

Please contact us for further information.

Toric Contact lenses

In the past, the only contact lens available for astigmatism were hard lenses. Nowadays, there is a completely new technology with advanced soft monthly disposable toric lenses to suit most of the astigmatic prescriptions.
